The beauty of this little baby is amazing. I keep looking at the pictures in wonder at his little nose and big eyes. I can't believe a child can be this alert at only a couple of days old---amazing and humbling.

Sometimes you don't need an engagement shoot (or you don't have the time for one), but taking some romantic shots at the rehearsal before the wedding? Adorable! Especially since the bride wanted to show off her mother's wedding dress, which she accessorized with style. I love these two, and their love for each other is apparent in each look and gesture. A few months ago, I had the pleasure of photographing the female side of a terrific family at the lovely University of Maryland campus. What better way to show and celebrate ones love of learning than on a college campus? An inspired and inspiring location for a family photo-shoot--and I think the pictures speak for themselves!

I had the pleasure of taking photos of a wonderful and sweet family a few weeks ago. It was not quite cherry blossom season, but the photos of the memorial here in DC were still lovely. The architecture  the vividness, the photogenic and friendliest of models...well, suffice to say the day was great.

I am learning a lot about layout recently and so I'm trying to play with it. And I have an opportunity here to show another fantastic party I got to be at (and just shot some photos while enjoy the incredible cake). Once again, my friend (mother of the 'Pony and Peppers' birthday girl) has the best kids, and this party for the younger daughter was all about dinosaurs. Great, right?

Almost a year ago I took photos for my good friend, whose wonderful daughter had a "pony and peppers" birthday celebration and the feeling that day was summer and fun and color.

Today's 80+ degree weather has reminded me of it and I wish nothing more than to have an outdoor picnic right now, with potential to enter into a magical world (as some of the photos show). Let's say hello to summer early!
